in April 2019 revealed 97% of people living in Broomfield wanted to stay.

for work and pleasure.
The M11, meanwhile, for access north to
Cambridge is also easily accessible via the A414 out of Chelmsford or the A120
from Braintree.
Chelmsford station has 30-minute trains into
London.

Broomfield Primary School, close to the village
centre is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, while Chelmer Valley High School, north and
close to the hospital, is also rated ‘Good’.
Employment in Broomfield
Broomfield Hospital has 800 beds, an accident
& emergency department and helipad and Mid Essex Hospital trust employs
around 5,000 people in the region.
Most workers living in Broomfield, however, use
the village’s superb links to Chelmsford, Braintree and London to commute to
work.

With Chelmsford so close, those living in
Broomfield have easy access to luxury shopping at Bond Street and high street
brands at High Chelmer shopping centre.
