Google Street View
Google have now gone live with their much trumpeted ‘Street View’ addition to google maps / google earth facilities.
As we link all of our property listings to google maps as a matter of course, you can now take this down to street view. Here you can look at the property listed together with the surrounding neighbourhood. This facility will give tenants a much better “feel” for the property and will undoubtedly help when deciding upon which properties to view in Norwich.

The Deposit Protection Scheme
Martin & Co is officially the largest single user of the Deposit Protection Scheme. Since the introduction of The DPS, almost 450,000 deposits have been protected worth over £330 million and with over 160 offices of Martin & Co throughout the UK, it is small wonder we are their major player.

The DPS is the only one of the 3 tenancy deposit schemes to pay interest. The DPS works by holding a tenant’s deposit, free of charge, for the term of the tenancy agreement. At the end of the rental period, the deposit, and a portion of the interest it has accumulated, is paid back to whoever is entitled to it – tenant or landlord, depending on the condition of the property and the terms of the rental agreement. The remaining interest is used to fund the service.
