The Loughborough office is an independent business operated under licence from Martin & Co (UK) Ltd. We specialise in renting quality houses and apartments to working people in and around the town. All of our houses and apartments are offered unfurnished unless specifically stated otherwise. We do not normally have properties suitable for students or the unwaged.
Professionally prepared inventories
For both landlord and tenant peace of mind all our inventories are provided by a separate company Pendred Fox Ltd in accordance with industry best practice.
Deposits
By law, all tenant deposits must be held in accordance with a Government aproved scheme. Tenants and landlords can rest assured that if Martin & Co Loughborough hold the deposit it will be held in a secure, separate, audited and insured Client account in line with legislation and best practice. Tenants are advised to check their tenancy agreement which (assuming the tenancy commenced after April 2007) must show where their particular deposit is held.
Landlords – Free Buy-To-Let advice
Even in the current climate the right property can still make a decent investment. It is equally true that in the current climate the wrong property could prove financially catastrophic. As a specialist letting agent (NOT an estate agent), our advice is genuinely independent and impartial. Opening hours
- We are open six days a week, Monday to Saturday. We open at 9 am every day apart from Wednesday when we open at 10 am to allow time for staff training. The office closes at 5.30 pm Monday to Friday and at 3 pm on Saturdays. Appointments to view properties can normally be made a little later than the scheduled office closing time.
Complaints
Hopefully you will be delighted with the service you receive from us. Should you need to make a formal complaint please either write to, or email Mrs Julie Muton, Office Manager, Martin & Co Loughborough – julie.muton@martinco.com. If Julie is unable to resolve the matter your complaint will be referred to Steve Buttery, Managing Director, Martin & Co Loughborough. In the unlikely event that the matter still cannot be resolved the complaint will be referred to the Ombudsman for Letting Agents (a division of the Ombudsman for Estate Agents) for a final ruling.
