Martin & Co (Coventry) has strategically positioned offices at 105 New Union Street open between 9.00am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and 10.00am to 2.00pm on Saturdays. We will make viewing and appraisal appointments outside these hours by arrangement.

The remainder come by word of mouth, through networking or the local paper.

The City Council’s Development Plan encourages the replacement of lost mass production jobs with high quality engineering, IT, medical, educational and research work. With Coventry University and the University of Warwick developing links with industry and commerce there is every reason to invest in this city. Higher paid work creates demand for high quality accommodation. I wouldn’t be surprised if the shortfall in building capacity in the south east and the easy rail links with the capital didn’t create a knock on ‘London effect’ in years to come.

Martin & Co…........or in other words…........... “Charlie & The Chocolate Factory!” Now what would possess someone to refer to a letting agent like that? Well, quite simply, it is like being inside the candy store when dealing with Martin & Co, because as soon as you pop in and place your order [tenant profile/rent & dates etc] within a blink of an eye they’re calling you to say they have a viewing. Now I can assure you they are not just pulling in just anyone, to date Iʼve only seen A1 tenants! Iʼve personally experienced them rent out a property at the new Waterfront development in Bedworth [not mine] within two hours of the landlord signing up, and then again at the same development within a day of the second investor signing up with them. So you see – you order your sweets and Wham – they arrive in your hand. I also placed one of my properties [Tile Hill] with them on Monday morning. Monday afternoon I had a phone call from the Negotiator where the conversation generally went along the lines of asking if he was winding me up, talking to the wrong landlord or just showing off. Iʼm pleased to say it was none of the above [well he was quite pleased with himself] and he had already delivered the tenant, at the rent I asked for as well as being signed, sealed and delivered. I feel their strongest point is that they focus purely on lettings and not both [sales/lets] as well as the clear, concise and positive approach towards landlords. Of course there are many good letting agents out there and sadly, some very bad ones, but if you want your candy bar in your pocket before youʼve had a chance to pay for it, then I suggest you give these guys a go! JUST be prepared to try and keep up with them and move – QUICKLY!!
