Energy Performance Certificates
From 1st October 2008 all rental properties with a new tenancy agreement in England and Wales will be required by law to have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
If a landlords property does not have an EPC they could receive a £200 fine – but don’t worry Martin & Co has the answer.
Our EPCs are carried out by fully accredited Domestic Energy Assessors.
Our fixed fee of £75 plus VAT remains the same regardless of location, size of the property or number of bedrooms.

Katherine joins UK's No 1 at Colchester
Katherine Sims has joined Martin & Co, Colchester Office this month as Assistant to our Property Manager.
Katherine previously worked for Debenhams as a Fine Fragrance Consultant, and she has also worked as a fashion model and worked in the film industry as an extra.
Katherine will appear in the next Dustin Hoffman Movie called “Last Chance Harvey” where she was the Brides best friend.
